Ingredients

  • 1 egg, large
  • 2 egg whites
  • ½ cup (125 ml) milk, 1% abv
  • ¼ tsp (1 ml) vanilla extract
  • 1/8 tsp (0.5 ml) cinnamon
  • 8 slices whole-grain bread

Preparation

  1. In a bowl, whisk together egg, egg whites, milk, vanilla and cinnamon. Dip both sides of each slice of bread into the mixture.
  2. Over medium heat, cook bread slices in a non-stick pan coated with cooking oil until golden brown on both sides.
